Alton teen charged in shooting at St. Louis police, ATF agents

ST. LOUIS — A 19-year-old man already in custody in Madison County on drug charges now faces additional charges relating to an incident where someone in a car fired an automatic weapon at St. Louis police officers and federal ATF agents.

Alexavier Bishop, 19, listed as living in Florissant but also with an Alton address, was charged Friday with aiding and abetting the assault of federal agents and aiding and abetting the discharge of a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence.
