Police ask for help identifying man in theft, fraud case

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – Police are asking for help identifying a man believed to have stolen a woman’s wallet from a medical center.

The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department (SLMPD) posted to social media on Tuesday, asking the public for help identifying a man. SLMPD posted photos from a security camera, stating that he is a suspect in a July 27 theft and fraud case.

According to police, their investigation shows that between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. on July 27, the man stole a woman’s wallet from the Washington University Medical Center in the 500 block of S. Euclid. He then used the woman’s bank and credit card to make several purchases, police allege…
