CASEYVILLE, Ill. – It’s St. Stephen Catholic Church on South Main, where someone reportedly stole copper downspouts – right next to Caseyville, P.D.
A man on a bike was seen peddling off with a downspout, when Reverend James Fee said, “I was looking out my window up in the second floor and I heard this clang and I looked down. There was a long downspout that was not there in this place anymore.”
Rev. Fee added, “It says people are in need, for one thing, and that’s not just people who would choose to take something valuable from a piece of property or from the church, but there’s lots of folks in need.”…
