Farm Family Day Celebrated at Missouri State Fair

Monday at the Missouri State Fair, Missouri Farm Bureau/Farm Family Day will be celebrated. For 66 years, Farm Family Day at the Missouri State Fair has recognized Missouri’s Farm Families and the role they play in our state’s economy. Nominated families from each county and the city of St. Louis are selected to represent their county/city for this honor.

Missouri Farm Bureau, along with the Missouri Department of Agriculture, Missouri State Fair, University of Missouri Extension and Engagement and the University of Missouri College of Agriculture Food and Natural Resources partner annually to bring this traditional event to the State Fair. This year’s families chosen as Missouri Farm Families include the Donelson Family Farm from Mercer County, the Dallas and Makayla Greenland Family Farm from Worth County, Wesley and Marcy Gay Family Farm from Daviess County, the Ellis Family Farm from DeKalb County, The Bowe Family Farm from Grundy County, The Pollard Family Farm from Caldwell County, Steve and Julie White from Andrew County, TJ & Jill Payne with Locust Valley Farms in Putnam County, JM Farms from Nodaway County, and the Trey & Brittany Talley Family Farm from Clinton County…
