EDWARDSVILLE — A Belleville man in custody at the Madison County Jail was charged with residential burglary and theft after being taken to Anderson Hospital in Maryville for treatment, escaping and stealing an e-bike.
The 36-year-old suspect was charged Aug. 14 with residential burglary, a Class 1 felony; and theft, a Class 3 felony.
