ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – A St. Louis man faces a murder charge after police said he shot and killed a man on the victim’s porch in the Walnut Park West neighborhood.
Walter Fowler, 29, faces charges of first-degree murder and armed criminal action in the shooting death of Dwayne Henderson-Murphy, 34, on Aug. 4, according to court records.
The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department said the shooting occurred at Henderson-Murphy’s home on Hiller Place around 11:40 p.m. Officers found Henderson-Murphy on the porch with multiple gunshot wounds to his legs, abdomen and right shoulder.
