EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. (First Alert 4) – Firefighters are battling a large structure fire in East St. Louis.
Herb Simmons with St. Clair County Emergency Management Agency said crews responded to the 500 block of North 22nd Street for a report of a house fire.
First Alert 4 crews on scene saw one house completely burned down another one next to it damaged.
A large smoke plume from the fire was visible as far away as downtown St. Louis…
