Police are investigating after a woman’s body was found floating in a small lake at an apartment complex near the intersection of Frank Scott Parkway and North Illinois Street Wednesday.
The Fairview Heights Police Department received a call at 11:30 a.m. Officers and Fairview Fire Department personnel responded and confirmed the woman was dead in the lake between buildings at the Winchester Apartment complex, according to a release from the police department.
