Ted Drewes Day: 97-cent treats this Saturday at Chippewa stand

ST. LOUIS — Ted Drewes Frozen Custard is marking 97 years with a special celebration on Saturday, April 25, offering one-day-only deals at its iconic Chippewa Street location.

Known as Ted Drewes Day, the annual event features customer favorites at throwback prices. All day long, guests at the Chippewa stand, 6726 Chippewa Street, can get 97-cent single-scoop cones and $1.97 single-scoop St. Louis baseball cap sundaes.

As the St. Louis staple inches closer to its 100th anniversary, the stand continues to draw generations of local customers, first-time visitors starting new traditions, and travelers from around the world stopping along historic Route 66.
