SAN ANTONIO – Two people were arrested Sunday afternoon after police said they assaulted a store clerk while trying to steal merchandise from a business.
The incident happened just before 12:30 p.m. at a business off San Pedro Avenue near Westwood Drive.
Police said a man and a woman talked into the store, took a bunch of items and tried to leave without paying. Investigators said the suspects then assaulted the 39-year-old female store clerk before leaving…
