Texas weather is doing it again — switching up on us. Gloomy weather conditions came to an end this weekend, just in time for the San Antonio Spurs to defeat the Oklahoma City Thunder Sunday night, May 24. The Alamo City also saw sunny skies and warm weather for the Memorial Day holiday Monday, May 25.

But in true Texas weather fashion, a major switch up can be expected. The National Weather Service is warning of another heavy rain threat returning to San Antonio this week with confidence increasing as late as Tuesday, May 26, continuing into Wednesday, May 27.
Strong to sever storms are possible with a Level 2 of 4 risk for large to very large hail and damaging winds Tuesday into Tuesday night, NWS says. The area also faces a Level 2 of 4 risk for excessive rainfall with possible flash flooding for most of South-Central Texas.
“Early indications suggest large areas of 1 to 3 inch rainfall amounts with isolated 5 inch totals possible by early Wednesday evening,” NWS says. “Any additional rainfall on saturated ground will lead to increased flooding potential.”…
