CAPTURED: San Antonio fugitive captured in Mexico, extradited to U.S.

DEL RIO, Texas – A San Antonio man wanted on a charge of aggravated sexual assault of a child is now back in U.S. custody after being captured in Mexico.

According to the U.S. Marshals Office, Isaac James Garcia, 34, was arrested Apr. 10 in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico.

Mexican authorities took Garcia into custody and later expelled him through the International Port of Entry in Eagle Pass, where he was transferred to the U.S. Marshals Service without incident. He is expected to be returned to Bexar County to face pending charges…
