SAN ANTONIO — A woman is facing an aggravated robbery charge after she drove away with a man hanging onto her vehicle, causing injuries that later led to the amputation of his right leg.
According to an arrest affidavit, officers responded on May 12 to a disturbance in the 12500 block of Lone Shadow Trail and found a man suffering from a severe foot injury. The victim said he and Meagen Rose Mendoza, who were dating, had been drinking when an argument began.
Mendoza took his cellphone and attempted to leave, according to the affidavit. When he tried to retrieve it, Mendoza allegedly drove away while he was holding onto the vehicle. Police said the vehicle struck a curb and a stop sign, crushing the victim’s foot…
