Seven arrested in Reno concert venue gang operation, including SF murder suspect

A multi-agency law enforcement operation at a downtown Reno concert venue netted seven arrests—including a homicide suspect wanted in San Francisco—while preventing potential gang retaliatory violence, authorities announced.

The proactive gang suppression detail took place July 24, following intelligence that members of the Calle Side Hill (CSH) criminal street gang were scheduled to perform and expected to attract rival gang associates. Concerns over potential violence were heightened following a violent altercation involving CSH members near the same venue just days earlier.
