Three of the four passengers killed in a plane crash in Alaska Wednesday were from the Bay Area.
The small plane crashed into the water next to a remote coastal town in Alaska. All four people on board were killed, including 65-year-old Ronald Schmidt and 20-year-old Lance Schmidt, both from San Jose. The oldest victim, 82-year-old Daniel Simons, was from Los Gatos.
