SUNNYVALE — Apple has bought a Sunnyvale office building in a fresh expansion for the company, a deal that suggests the Bay Area tech industry still scouts for growth opportunities despite the artificial intelligence upheaval.
The tech titan paid $162.2 million for an office building at 684 West Maude Ave. in Sunnyvale, documents filed on June 11 with the Santa Clara County Recorder’s Office show.
