SAN JOSE, CA — Two men from Dallas were arrested in connection with an attempted home-invasion robbery in San Jose, according to police. Investigators say the suspects allegedly tried to present themselves as delivery workers before the robbery attempt unfolded.
Authorities say the men targeted a residence linked to large cryptocurrency holdings, making the case part of a growing category of crimes in which thieves look for signs of digital wealth. Police have not released additional details about how the arrest was carried out or whether anyone inside the home was injured.
The case drew attention because of the combination of a fake delivery ruse and the alleged focus on crypto assets. San Jose police are still handling the investigation.
