Cal Fire plans to conduct a prescribed burn near Pope Valley in Napa County from Tuesday through Thursday to reduce wildfire fuels and improve community safety.
The operation will target about 250 acres of light vegetation on Spanish Valley owned by the Napa County Regional Park and Open Space District. Fire crews could begin work as early as 8 a.m., according to Cal Fire’s Sonoma-Lake-Napa Unit.
