Savannah-Chatham schools facing $28.2 million shortfall in budget, official says

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — Savannah Chatham County Public School System (SCCPSS) will receive almost $30 million less than what they expected for the upcoming fiscal year, SCCPSS’s superintendent announced Wednesday.

SCCPSS board members voted to approve the FY27 Budget Wednesday night. The proposed budget was 704.7 million dollars.
