Five-Year Prison Sentence Handed Down in 7 Cedars Drug Bust

PORT ANGELES — A Kitsap County man has been sentenced to five years in prison after Clallam County prosecutors say he was caught selling fentanyl from a hotel room at 7 Cedars Casino.

Thirty-six-year-old Dylan Marsh-Backs pleaded guilty to possession with intent to deliver fentanyl and second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm. A Clallam County judge sentenced him to 60 months in prison, with a concurrent 16-month sentence on the firearm conviction.

The case grew out of a two-day Olympic Peninsula Narcotics Enforcement Team investigation in March. Detectives first arrested former Clallam County Adult and Juvenile Drug Court Coordinator Johnny Watts in Agnew after deputies found him carrying a loaded handgun and suspected drugs.
