DESOTO PARISH, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – The DeSoto Parish Sheriff’s Office Street Level Interdiction Unit (S.L.I.U.) arrested nine people for drug and weapon charges throughout August, seizing methamphetamine, cocaine, oxycodone, marijuana, and firearms.
According to Sheriff Jayson Richardson, the arrests occurred between Aug. 6 and Aug. 31 across DeSoto Parish and involved suspects from Louisiana, Nevada, and Missouri.
