SHREVEPORT, La. — The Office of the Shreveport City Council will hold its inaugural Council Connects: Neighborhood Leadership Institute Saturday at Southern University at Shreveport.
The one-day program aims to empower local residents, strengthen neighborhood leadership, and offer practical insight into the inner workings of municipal government. Designed to bridge the gap between citizens and local officials, the institute will provide guidance on accessing city services and advocating effectively for community improvements.
