Teen Gets 98 Days in Jail Following Gun Incident at Blake High School

An 18-year-old Silver Spring man has been sentenced after pleading guilty to a firearm charge stemming from a fight during which a gun discharged in the parking lot of Blake High School earlier this year.

Montgomery County Circuit Court Judge Ann Harrington sentenced Taric Wilson to five years in prison, suspending all but 98 days, followed by three years of supervised probation. Wilson pleaded guilty Aug. 12 to possession of a firearm under the age of 21. He was 17 at the time of the incident but pleaded guilty to an adult charge.
