SIOUX FALLS, SD—Watercolor artist Judy Thompson of Orange City and her daughter, Kristin Gifford, a poet living in Minneapolis, had discussed collaborating for years.
“Kristin and I had been wanting to do something together with our art forms, but we were never able to quite get it together,” Thompson said.
