Spokane, Wash. — Major road work in Spokane continues to move forward as state and city crews push ahead on several bridge and corridor projects.
Near Spokane Community College, WSDOT East says the bridge at the Spokane River crossing is nearly complete and would soon need to connect to the next section of road. That part of the North Spokane Corridor is expected to be finished this fall.
WSDOT East says three stages are under construction. Stage two, from Trent to Alki, focuses on utility work and local city streets and is scheduled to wrap up at the end of 2028. Stage three, from Alki to Sprague, is farther along with pillars already in the ground and is scheduled to be complete at the end of 2027…
