SPOKANE, Wash. – A 25-year-old Spokane man was sentenced to 101 months in prison on August 25, according to the Spokane County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, for child molestation and unlawfully imprisoning the mother of the child in an October 2023 incident.
The prosecutor’s office said that Cameron J. Knight was in a relationship with the child’s mother, and lived with her and the child. A group of friends were invited over to watch football and were all drinking. Then, the child’s mother woke up trapped in the bathroom by Knight, who was blocking the exit and stated he was going to have sex with her.
The next day, according to the prosecutor’s office, the child made statements to her mother indicating that Knight had touched her sexually during the night. Police were notified and launched an investigation…
