SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office said a man released from jail on his own recognizance on August 31, 2026, was arrested again hours later after a string of calls from businesses on South Geiger Boulevard.
Deputies said 43-year-old Dane D. Riffe was released from jail at about 6:00 p.m. on a felony burglary charge and a misdemeanor theft charge. The sheriff’s office said he had been in custody since August 28, 2026, after an earlier arrest in Spokane Valley.
