Truck driver injured when rig overturns on I-44 in Missouri

LAWRENCE COUNTY, Mo. — A trucker was injured on Monday afternoon after his rig overturned on Interstate 44 in Missouri.

According to a crash summary from the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), the 64-year-old driver of a 2015 Peterbilt from Bartlesville, Okla. reportedly fell asleep at the wheel on Interstate 44 approximately seven miles west of Mount Vernon, Mo., in Lawrence County.
