GRADY COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) – A traffic stop for speeding in Grady County early Saturday morning led to the arrest of a Florida woman on felony drug charges, according to the Grady County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said they stopped 28-year-old Brittany Jones Butler, of Tallahassee, Florida, for speeding. During the traffic stop, investigators developed probable cause to search the vehicle.
According to the sheriff’s office, the search resulted in the discovery of a quantity of suspected illegal narcotics and approximately $7,000 in U.S. currency, both of which were seized as evidence.
