A 42-year-old Florida woman faces an attempted first-degree murder charge after police say she stabbed a man, severed part of his nose, and tried to steal his bicycle early Sunday.
According to WPBF, officers arrested Amanda Faye Rupp, also known as “Tink,” on Tuesday near 49th Street and Broadway. Along with attempted murder, she is charged with armed robbery, aggravated battery causing bodily disability, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Security guards found the victim shortly after midnight Sunday near 47th Street and Broadway with a stab wound to his abdomen and severe facial injuries. He was rushed to a nearby hospital for emergency surgery.
