TAMPA, Fla. — A broken water main has forced the complete shutdown of South MacDill Avenue between West Cherokee Avenue and West Price Avenue.
Crews from the Tampa Water Department closed all lanes on Saturday to begin emergency repair work on the damaged pipe. City workers have put up detour signs and barricades to steer drivers around the work zone, and officials are urging anyone traveling nearby to slow down and stay alert.
