Cold front passes today, temps turn chilly Tuesday

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Today we’ll be the last warm day for a while. Temperatures warm into the upper 70s to near 80° this afternoon, it will be humid and breezy as well.

A cold front arrives this evening with a broken line of showers passing from north to south after 5:00 p.m. The rain clears the Tampa Bay area after midnight tonight and the cooler air will settle in.

Temperatures drop into the upper 50s by Tuesday morning, but the colder air continues to filter in on Tuesday and it will be a very slow warm-up. Temperatures will not even warm up much during the day going from the upper 50s in the morning to only the mid 60s in the afternoon.

Skies will gradually clear out and winds will be less breezy Tuesday.

Temperatures get chillier Tuesday night, dropping into the upper 40s for Wednesday morning.

Valentine’s Day will start out chilly in the 40s, but with lots of sunshine, temperatures moderate back into the low 70s during the afternoon and it will be dry all day.

Highs will be back in the mid 70s for Thursday and Friday with a mixture of sun and clouds and it will be dry.
