Muggy & dry Fri, storms arrive Sat w/ a cold front

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A strong cold front will arrive Saturday bringing a line of showers and storms. A few storms could be strong to even severe.

Friday will be warm and muggy ahead of the front. Temps will warm into the mid and upper 80s with feels like temps in the mid-90s. We’ll see passing clouds with just a 10% chance of a stray shower north of I-4.

It will be a dry start to Saturday. Winds will increase through the morning but rain chances will not increase until early afternoon for the Nature Coast. Rain chances will be highest mid to late afternoon for areas just north and south of I-4. Showers will arrive and linger later for counties south of I-4.

As storms arrive to areas along and north of I-4, a few could be strong to severe. Damaging winds…..
