Area communities will celebrate the Fourth of July and America 250 with parades and fireworks, plus an assortment of other activities.
Fremont plans historic parade, fireworks
The city will end the day with a bang as fireworks will be set off at dusk and will be visible from Rodger Young and Walsh Park.
Hayes plans its own busy day
The Rutherford B. Hayes Museum will also have an assortment of events on July Fourth ranging from a speaker on Colonial Days to the Signers of the Declaration of Independence. Other activities will include a 2 p.m. concert by the Toledo Concert Band featuring members of the Toledo Symphony Orchestra.

Clyde plans fun afternoon, evening wrapping up with fireworks
In Clyde’s Community Park, activities begin on July 4 from 1-11 p.m., plus a beer tent open during the same hours at the open shelter house. Six food trucks will be set up at the park.
From 2-5 p.m., there will be live music with Mike Risner. Jessica Hannan will be live from 7-11 p.m. Inflatables from Air Extreme Ohio will be available from 3-9 p.m.
Youths can touch a truck or two during the afternoon
