A Truck Smashed Into a Toledo Home at 2 AM and the Driver Just Ran Away
Someone’s home in north Toledo is no longer safe to live in today. Not because of a storm. Not because of a fire. Because a truck drove across their front yard in the middle of the night and hit their house.
The driver got out, looked at what he had done, and walked away.
What Actually Happened
The truck was traveling on Suder Avenue when it veered off the road, crossed the front yard entirely, and struck the house near Manhattan Boulevard and Suder Avenue early Tuesday morning.
This was not a glancing blow. The homeowner, who was there when WTOL 11 arrived, described visible structural damage to the front of the home. The Red Cross responded to assist because the residence was no longer considered structurally safe…
