Religious Offerings: St. Paul’s Episcopal gets new priest after 28 years

■ The Rev. Patricia Rose has been called to serve as interim priest at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Maumee following the December retirement of the Rev. Paul Board, who served the parish for 28 years.

“I am so excited to offer all that I can bring to this beautiful community during this interim time,” Reverend Rose said in a news release. “It’s truly a heartwarming place enriched by its heritage and strengths as a spiritual outpost in the wilderness since 1836. I look forward to all of our joyous opportunities together.”

She has worked in ministry in California and Ohio since 2011, most recently serving as assistant rector and overseeing outreach at a parish in Cleveland Heights…
