Ohio police officer fired after domestic violence arrest

MAUMEE, Ohio — A man who was a police officer for a department near Toledo was fired this week after he was arrested on multiple charges in connection with a domestic violence incident.

Maumee Municipal Court records show Caleb Hensley, 30, of Maumee, is charged with felonious assault, abduction, strangulation, domestic violence, simple assault and violation of a protection order.

Hensley has pleaded not guilty to the charges and a judge has ordered that he be held in jail on a $200,000 bond…
