Man shot in overnight custody dispute in west Toledo

TOLEDO, Ohio — A 39-year-old man was hospitalized Wednesday after police said he was shot during a child custody-related dispute.

The incident occurred just after 3 a.m. at a duplex in the 2600 block of Greenway Street—near West Bancroft Street and Douglas Road. Police said a 36-year-old man was inside at the residence when the 39-year-old man arrived uninvited.
