TOLEDO, Ohio — A Toledo man charged with the murder of an 11-month-old in July took a plea deal in the Lucas County Court of Common Pleas on Thursday.
Alexander Butler, 24, entered an Alford plea to a murder charge, meaning he did not admit guilt but agreed there was enough evidence to find him guilty. A judge scheduled his sentencing for May 4.
