TOLEDO, Ohio — Cherry Street Mission will provide temporary accommodations after a fire broke out at St. Paul’s Community Center in downtown Toledo Monday morning.
A spokesperson from Cherry Street Mission told WTOL 11 the organization was coordinating with St. Paul’s to provide temporary accommodations, meals and support to those who were affected by the fire while repairs at St. Paul’s are underway.
According to Toledo Fire and Rescue, the fire, which was reported around 8;15 a.m., was contained to a room where people sleep. However, no one was injured, and there was no major smoke damage. The fire was near a mattress, and investigators were on scene, TFRD said…
