With upcoming weekend repair work shutting down southbound I-475 south of U.S. 24, officials in Maumee and Perrysburg said they expect some diverting traffic but are not planning any special efforts to manage it.
“We’re expecting a little more traffic, similar to when there’s an accident on the expressway,” Deputy Chief Brenton Duran of the Perrysburg Police Department said of the impact he expects on routes leading away from the Fort Meigs Memorial Bridge.
