Venezuelan Man Who Allegedly Posed as Perrysburg High School Student Sentenced to Prison in Ohio

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio — A Venezuelan man accused of posing as a teenage student to enroll at Perrysburg High School has been sentenced to prison in Wood County, Ohio, and will be required to register as a sex offender following a multi-count conviction involving forgery and sexually oriented material charges.

Court records and sentencing details from Wood County Common Pleas Court show Anthony Emmanuel Labrador-Sierra, 25, received an indefinite prison sentence of four to six years Thursday under Ohio’s Reagan Tokes law.

SENTENCING AND COURT ORDER

A Wood County judge sentenced Labrador-Sierra to:

  • 4 years to 6 years in prison on a second-degree felony pandering charge involving sexually oriented matter
  • 12 months in prison on a fifth-degree felony forgery charge

The sentences will run concurrently with each other and concurrently with a separate federal prison sentence previously issued in Toledo.

As part of the ruling, the court also ordered:

  • Registration as a Tier II sex offender
  • A mandatory five-year post-release control period following release
  • Continued custody transfer to a state correctional facility after processing through the Wood County Justice Center

The judge said the prison term was “appropriate and necessary” to deter future criminal conduct.
