Toledo grandmother pleads not guilty in fentanyl homicide of 9-month-old

TOLEDO, Ohio — The grandmother accused in the fentanyl-related death of her 9-month-old granddaughter appeared in court today, where a judge set her bond at more than $1.6 million.

Taletha Kropp entered a plea of not guilty to five felony charges including involuntary manslaughter, child endangering, and drug possession.

Kropp’s bond at $1 million for the first count, $500,000 for the second count, and $50,000 for each of the remaining three counts. The bond terms do not allow for a 10% payment and require electronic monitoring with lockdown for the second count…
