MAUMEE, Ohio — Traffic was heavy over the weekend during the first closure of southbound Interstate 475 in the Maumee and Perrysburg areas, though officials may implement changes for the coming weekend.
Conant Street in Maumee often sees slow traffic, but William Martin, who witnessed the congestion Sunday, said the atmosphere felt different.
“Everybody seems to be a little mad because I can tell by the attitude of traffic,” Martin said. “That’s what everybody gets a little mad during traffic.”…
