Cooper Standard to close Bowling Green plant, impacting about 175 workers

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio — A longtime Wood County manufacturer is planning to shut down its Bowling Green operation, impacting approximately 175 workers.

Cooper Standard confirmed Wednesday that it will close its Bowling Green facility as part of a broader effort to streamline operations and reduce costs. Company communications spokesperson Chris Andrews told WTOL 11 approximately 175 employees will be affected, with the closure expected by the end of 2027.
