Tillman received 60% of 2,433 total votes cast, according to unofficial results from the tribe. His sole opponent, Scott Bighorse, received about 40%.
Tillman has been a member of the Osage Nation Congress for the past decade. According to Osage News, he advocated for the development of a cultural center, increased representation at the Oklahoma State Capitol, affordable housing and an elder call center as part of his election bid.
