Planning to go to Sauvie Island this summer? Be sure to get your new $10 permit.
Beginning June 15 and running through Labor Day, vehicles will need a Sauvie Island Beaches Parking Permit to park at Walton, Collins, and North Unit beaches on weekends and holidays, a news release from the Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife says.
The usual Wildlife Area Parking Permit won’t be valid in these areas but can be used at other sites on the wildlife area (Willow Bar, Gilbert River boat ramp, Warrior Rock) and on summer weekdays, the release says…
