Supporters of a proposed Virginia constitutional amendment gathered in downtown Norfolk on Thursday to launch a statewide campaign encouraging voters to approve Ballot Question No. 3 this November.
The campaign, called “Yes on 3,” aims to persuade voters to support the constitutional amendment, which would guarantee the right to vote for eligible Virginians and establish an automatic process to restore voting rights to people convicted of felonies after they complete their incarceration.
