PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — A new study shows the hospitals in the Hampton Roads region have been ranked as some of the best in the state of Virginia.
U.S. News and World Reports completed their 37th edition on the best hospitals across the country. The study evaluated 4,500 hospitals with an analyses of 810 million hospital visits.
Many hospitals in Hampton Roads ranked in the top 20 in the state. Here’s where they fell on the list:

- 15. Sentara Princess Anne Hospital, Virginia Beach, VA

- 21. Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center, Williamsburg, VA
