PORTSMOUTH, VA. (WAVY) – The Portsmouth Humane Society had to temporarily close Monday after one of the building’s air conditioning units went down.
Cute animals, portable air conditioning units and lots of fans are what you’ll currently find inside the Portsmouth Humane Society.
“It’s incredibly exhausting,” said Dyanna Uchiek, Portsmouth Humane Society executive director. “It’s a little bit embarrassing because we feel like a broken record. We’re like, ‘Oh yeah, we know we just did this last year, but it was a different AC last year, and it was a whole different situation.’”
